This group has the following objectives:
- Inform client of patterns of psychological use and symptoms of physical dependency on alcohol and other drugs
- Understand how family members are affected by substance abuse
- Identify the effects of alcohol and other drugs on the mind and body
- Identify how Blood Alcohol Content effects driving performance
- Learn Illinois DUI laws and associated penalties
- Identify alternatives to drinking and driving
- Recognize individual symptoms
- Explore effective methods in managing and reducing stress
